lium completion

Print the line that turns on tab completion for lium in your shell, or add it to the shell's startup file.

lium completion [SHELL] [OPTIONS]

Arguments​

  • SHELL — Optional. bash, fish or zsh. Without it the shell in $SHELL is used.

Options​

--installAppend the line to ~/.bashrc, ~/.zshrc or ~/.config/fish/config.fish instead of printing it. Nothing is written when the line is already there

Examples​

lium completion zsh                  # Print the line for zsh
lium completion --install            # Install for the current shell
lium completion bash >> ~/.bashrc    # Same thing, by hand

After --install, restart the shell or source the file it names.

The first time lium runs at a terminal it adds this line on its own, once (a marker file ~/.lium_completion_installed records that it did). It never does so when lium runs from a script, a CI job or an agent without a terminal. An unknown shell exits 2 with unsupported_shell.
