# `lium reset-gpu`

Reset a pod's hung GPUs without removing the pod. Every process in the pod stops, even when you name one GPU; files are kept. A reset takes 1 to 2 minutes.

**Usage**

```bash
lium reset-gpu POD [OPTIONS]
```

**Flags**

| Flag | What it does |
|------|--------------|
| `POD` | Pod name, HUID or row number (one pod) |
| `--gpu N` | GPU index as `nvidia-smi` shows it in the pod; repeat for more (default: all) |
| `-y`, `--yes` | Reset without asking |
| `--json` | Print the result as JSON |

If the reset times out, it may still finish. Check `lium exec POD nvidia-smi` before you reset again. The API is [`POST /pods/{id}/reset-gpu`](../../api.md#reset-a-pods-gpus).

**Example**

```bash
lium reset-gpu my-pod --gpu 0 --yes
```
